Maple end grain framed in solid walnut, split by three thin accent strips cut from the leftovers of the Ombre Board. Purpleheart, canarywood, cherry, and walnut run through each strip, so every line holds a little color. Only two of these exist.

When the Ombre Board came off the bench, the offcuts were too good to throw away. Each one was ripped down into thin strips and set between rows of maple, so pieces of five species run through a board that's mostly maple and walnut. Because the strips come from whatever was left over, no two lines match. Finished like the rest of the line: five grits, water-popped, then mineral oil and beeswax board butter.
