The Build
Each cube face is cut at a precise angle from a different species, light, medium, and dark, so the illusion holds up from every angle. It's the most demanding glue-up in the shop, and every board gets the same finish as the rest of the line: five grits, water popped, then mineral oil and beeswax board butter.
